Day 01 Nairobi National ParkDay 01 Nairobi National Park

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel in the morning. Have a short breaking and set off for Nairobi national park bird-watching experiences.

On your tour, look out for over 400 migratory and endemic bird species such as; Abyssinian thrush, Sharpe’s longclaw, Corncrake, Fischer’s lovebird, Shelley’s francolin, Grey-crowned crane, Hartlaub’s bustard, Jackson’s widowbird, Kori bustard, Lappet-faced vulture, mustached warbler, Lesser kestrel, Martial eagle, Pallid harrier, Pangani and yellow-throated longclaw Secretary bird, Sooty falcon, White-bellied bustard, White-headed vulture among others.
Besides birds, you will see several animal species in Nairobi national park such as lions, cheetah, leopards, and hyenas. Other large mammal species include buffalo, baboon, black rhino, eland, gazelle, hartebeest, impala, giraffe, hippopotamus, wildebeest, and waterbuck.

Drive back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 Lake NaivashaDay 2 Lake Naivasha

Have an early morning breakfast and drive to Lake Naivasha via Limuru ponds to spot birds like; Maccoa duck, herons, Southern pochard, egrets, Northern shoveller, Red-knobbed coot, Moorhen, and more others.

Lake Naivasha national park is a great scenic national park located in the great rift valley; just 90kms away northwest of Nairobi. The park is one of the best birding sites in Kenya with over 400 bird species including globally threatened species, endangered species, rare species, migratory species, near threatened, endangered and critically endangered birds.

After a birding trip to this amazing rift valley lake, drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 Lake OloidenDay 3 Lake Oloiden

Early breakfast and drive to Lake Oloiden for another exciting birdwatching tour in search for flamingos and other birds of lake Oloiden like; Black-winged Stilt, Long-toed Lapwing, Rock Pigeon, Speckled Pigeon, Mourning Collared-Dove, Blacksmith Lapwing, Spur-winged Lapwing, Crowned Lapwing, African Rail, Eurasian Moorhen, Red-knobbed Coot, Allen’s Gallinule, Kittlitz’s Plover, Goliath Heron, Purple Heron, Common Ringed Plover, Three-banded Plover, African Fish-Eagle, Common Buzzard, Augur Buzzard, African Jacana, Black-tailed Godwit among others.

Have lunch and drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the evening.
